Success Stories: Panoviewing

Events Management student Tom Greveson graduated from Leeds Met and in September 2004 set up his own business, Panoviewing.co.uk.

Panoviewing was created especially for the needs of Yorkshire estate agents with the technology which allows customers to go on a virtual tour of a property with minimal waiting time.

Tom explains, "I first thought of the idea of virtual tours when I had to move down to London and was looking for a suitable property there. If I had been able to view the properties online first I could have created a better short list and saved a lot of time and effort."

In 2003 Tom entered the annual Business Concept Competition, organised by Business Start-Up @ Leeds Met. As a runner up in the competition Tom won £2,000 to develop his business idea further.

Since launching in September 2004 Tom has developed his business and grown his customer base. Having expanded Panoviewing, Tom, and four of his colleagues will be moving into the Leeds Metropolitan University Business Incubator located at Queens Square .

By using the information and contacts received from Business Start-Up @ Leeds Met and the further help that he will receive from the Leeds Met Incubator Tom is hoping to find new customers and build on his existing relationships with local estate agents.
