Carnegie Faculty of Sport & Education has a proud tradition that can be traced back over 100 years to the Carnegie College which was based on what is now our Headingley Campus.
Carnegie Faculty starts its work with some of the youngest in our society and continues to do so through to adulthood. Within that we work in partnerships and teams. People within this Faculty help deliver a stimulating and quality learning experience. The experience is delivered across teaching, research, volunteering, sport, and is delivered on the beautiful Headingley campus, at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, in primary and secondary schools, on football pitches, lecture theatres, the Lake District and beyond.

On Tuesday 2nd February students in their first years of Primary Education at Leeds Met had the opportunity to engage with leading practitioners in the teaching of languages in the Primary phase of education.
