Your messages to the team:

Just speaking to larry and he mentioned the connection with raf bruggen (1986-1989)... well done to you all.
Nick Annis, Thursday 18 May 2006

Hey John very proud of you. I have been following you and the team's progress from OZ. Just logged on to hear your reflection of the 25th April, I too feel a sense of painful and desperate disappointment for you, but its the experience of a lifetime that you will never forgot. Stay safe Brother and good luck to the team.
Peter Allan, Brisbane, Thursday 27 April 2006

Hoping you are all well and thriving in the face of the Base Camp challenge. Last night and today we have with us another person who is also 'on top of the world': Heile Garbrselassie is meeting with students and staff preparing for the Great Student Run (on Sunday). All best, Jim.
Jim McKenna, Leeds Metropolitan University, Tuesday 25 April 2006

Well done everyone! What a fantastic opportunity and adventure. There is not a day goes by without our family discussing your progress over the dinner table. John, I have been thinking of amending your pie chart to read 'Climbing Everest' or 'I may be gone some time'. All the very best... CB.

Dear John and the team do keep the updates flowing. We are keen to follow your progress and hear how you are acclimatising as you move up to base camp. John's reflection on the 17 April indicated that the altitude difference was clearly evident at Lhasa. Our Three Peaks team managed Ingleborough on Tuesday! Only 2870m behind you!
I am looking forward to the first pictures. Take care. Best wishes, Mike.
