Maria Louise Wilson – Early Professional Development
Maria, 30, from Ossett came to university to top up her BA (Hons) QTS degree and chose Leeds Met because of its good reputation and convenience of location.
Feeling quite excited and proud on her day of graduation, Maria said: “As a mature, part-time student, Leeds Met has been the ideal choice of educational establishment for me. The tutors are very supportive, both personally and academically. The facilities are up-to-date and easily accessible and the opportunity to meet fellow part-time students has been invaluable.”
Maria is planning on continuing her career working as a teacher and also studying for her Masters in Professional Education, which she began in October 2004.
