Christopher Clayton, Jean Young- Morrison and Kirk Dunkley

All three of these mature students originally come from Jamaica but now live and teach in South Leeds. When they reflect back and ask themselves why they came to study at Leeds Met they confidently explain that the programme here was just right for them. “It was tailor made for us”, they said.
Christopher Clayton, Jean Young-Morrison and Kirk Dunkley all began by teaching in Jamaica but they moved over to England and wanted to carry on their teaching careers. They found study at Leeds Met very convenient as they were generally able to combine their work, family and studies without a problem.
They all attended the graduation with their family and friends and thought it was fantastic. Jean added that it was perfect: “short and spicy!”.
