Leeds Business School (LBS) is one of two Schools in the Faculty of Business & Law.
Leeds Business School has a broad portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional
programmes in business, marketing, human resource management, public relations, strategy and international business.
We have significant overseas delivery in Hong Kong and mainland China and are currently pursuing
developments in Eastern Europe, Russia, India and Africa. Students from across the world come to
Leeds to study with us, particularly from India, China, Norway, Thailand and Malaysia.
LBS plays a major role in graduate enterprise, business start-up and business
incubation through work with the Institute for Enterprise, and the Policy Research Institute.
The University has made a major commitment to the development of Leeds Business School through a
programme of investment in the physical estate. A new ‘state-of-the-art’ building (the Rose Bowl),
will be open in the heart of Leeds Civic Quarter by 2009.
Leeds Business School currently has 100 academic staff. Subject specialisations include marketing,
public relations, international business, strategy, human resource management
and organisational behaviour. These subjects are also taught across the University. We are currently
beginning a major initiative to share assessment, learning and teaching
strategies and research initiatives across the Faculty and beyond Faculty boundaries.
