Boxing triumph

Two Leeds Met students were finalists and one student was a semi-finalist in the BUSA Boxing Championships held in Cardiff. Middleweight Paul Kalinowski and light heavyweight Liam Cutler received silver medals whilst middleweight Alex Mabeka received bronze.
This was the first time for many years that Leeds Met has entered a team in this event. The rise of interest in boxing this year can be attributed to the enthusiasm of Club Officers Rian Perry & Jason Rose and the coaching staff at Tigers Gym.
