Northern Ballet Theatre Event 14/12/05

Yorkshire First Foundation held an information evening in the studios of the Northern Ballet Theatre in Leeds on Wednesday 14th December.
Organised by Stuart Rhodes from Yorkshire First, with the support of Yorkshire First Foundation lecturers, staff and the Educational Guidance team, the event was staged to help dancers and other members of the company understand the wide range of options and methods of study available to them through Leeds Met.
The event allowed members of Northern Ballet Theatre to discuss their options and needs with staff and particularly highlighted flexible learning options such as part-time study and distance learning which can enable members of the company to fit learning around their varying rehearsal schedules, performances and tours.
Stuart Rhodes said: “It was a very positive evening that clearly demonstrated the ability of Yorkshire First to facilitate the admission of students both into Yorkshire First as a Faculty and across the wider University as a result of its strong employer partnerships.”
There are a number of development opportunities stemming from
the evening which we will be following up.
