A noble partnership

As reported in today’s press, Leeds Met has become one of the inaugural members of the Knight Club, a corporate membership scheme launched at the Royal Armouries ten year celebrations.
Dr Eddie Halpin, Director of the Praxis Centre at Leeds Met, was there to represent the university which has become one of the first two ‘knights’ of the museum. The Royal Armouries has recruited corporate partners to help fund community work such as Flashpoint, a conflict resolution programme for children who have become alienated from the school environment. The funding will also go towards a series of other events, exhibitions and activities tackling similar issues.
