Behind the Smile: the tsunami of tourism, a photographic exhibition by John Wright and Jenny Matthews that focuses on exploitative labour conditions within tourism, has been launched at Leeds Met.
Guyonne James from Tourism Concern, a company who works with communities in destination countries to reduce social and environmental problems connected to tourism, gave a lecture to mark the launch of the exhibition, which will be on display in the Leslie Silver building at Leeds Met’s Civic Quarter until 2 December.
