Branding Roadshow

Staff attended the Branding Roadshow at Weetwood Hall to listen to various speakers from the University talk about University branding and the importance of complying with branding guidelines.
The day began with a welcome from Vice-Chancellor Professor Simon Lee who spoke about the need to give the University a sense of style by keeping branding consistent and accurate.
Throughout the morning staff were made aware of how the branding approval process works, copywriting dos and don’ts and what makes a great photograph. There was also time for a question and answer session with Jane Robson, Head of Marketing and Business Development, Lucy Laville, Head of Communications and Richard Berry, Head of Media Production.
The day provided an opportunity for everyone involved to clarify
the significance of branding and for staff to achieve a mutual
understanding of how University branding works.
