Readers group together

The library at Leeds Met is bringing people together and showing
them that there is more to the library than just books for courses
by setting up a readers’ group in partnership with the
public library in Leeds. The group, which will possibly have
links with other readers’ groups, will enable readers to
borrow books and will also entitle them to a discount on the
book of the month from the university bookshop.
A launch event was held at the university with a guest speech
by Sue Falkiner from the public library, who talked about running
the group.
